Up for Debate Northampton Heat

The first heat of PiXL Up For Debate took place at Northampton University today, with twenty-two teams taking part. They debated the two prepared topics, international adoption and music censorship, before debating banning zoos in the final impromptu round.

Hinchingbrooke School and Manor High School battled it out in the final, debating whether parents or doctors should have final say over important medical decisions regarding children’s health, with Hitchingbrooke ultimately being crowned regional champions. Both teams will go through to the national final in July.

It has been a fantastic first heat and we are looking forward to the second regional heat in Tiverton on Thursday!
