Up For Debate Tiverton Heat

The second heat of PiXL Up For Debate took place at Blundell’s School in Tiverton today. Teams debated the two prepared topics, international adoption and music censorship, before debating banning animal testing in the final impromptu round.

Cardinal Newman Pontypridd and Frome Community College were the two teams in the regional final. They debated whether or not parents should be punished for crimes committed by their children. Cardinal Newman Pontypridd won the final and were crowned regional champions, winning a place in the national final in July.
