Quandary

(noun) A state of perplexity or uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation

Have you ever found yourself in a quandary?

Sometimes you might find yourself in a quandary over a debate, but take a deep breath and don’t panic – you will always be able to think of arguments for your side.

Often policy debates (those that begin ‘This House Would’) are about solving quandaries. It is important to acknowledge that you are debating about a complication situation, and to think about all the different groups effect by it.
