British Values Primary Workshop

On Monday November 12th we were at Minster Primary School in Wiltshire. Minster was running a ‘British values day’ and looking at the suffragettes and their legacy.

We ran three workshops, for years 3, 4 and 5, debating some of the issues surrounding the suffragettes and political activism. Starting with the question ‘is it ever okay to break the rules?’, we then discussed the suffragettes and whether their violence was justified.

If you are interested in running our suffragettes workshop, or would like us to design a bespoke oracy and debate workshop for your school, email Debbie.
