This week 11 schools took part in the Hackney Primary Debate Challenge, organised by Noisy Classroom, the Hackney Teaching Schools Alliance and hosted at Clapton Girls’ Academy.
Schools took part in a 2 hour morning workshop on Monday – Thursday, before all coming together on Friday for a celebration day and mini-tournament. After a series of lively debates, Nightingale School were crowned winners and will go forward to debate in the London-wide final in July.
A huge well done to all schools for taking part and thank you to Clapton Girls’ Academy, the HTSA and all the CGA students who helped to run the workshops and judge the debates.
