After a truly wonderful day of debating at Eton College today, Laurence Jackson School are the first PiXL Up For Debate Champions. They reached the finals by arguing in debates on assisted suicide, increased use of referenda and whether sports starts are good role models. For the Grand Final debate, they proposed that university education should be free in the impressive Jafar Hall debate Chamber. The Head Master of Eton College, Simon Henderson addressed all the students and emphasised the importance of activities such as debating alongside studying for examinations.
