On 7 November, the Noisy Classroom made their Spanish debut at a conference of the Kings College Group in Madrid. Chris Wolsey, Second Master at Ibstock Place School, represented the organisation and trained forty teachers in using debating and structured speaking activities in the classroom. The group said the training was very interesting “especially in the light of our need to ensure our English as a second language students have plenty of opportunity to speak”.
